What is something you would say to your younger self?
I’ve thought about this a lot.
And the truth is, I wouldn’t just say one thing. I’d say all the things she needed to hear and didn’t.
I’d tell her:
“You’re not here to be liked.
You’re here to be real.”
I’d tell her she doesn’t have to earn love by performing, fixing, or disappearing.
That one day, her softness would become her power. That her body isn’t the apology she thinks it is. That her intuition is not a glitch, it’s the whole damn map.
I’d tell her the people who didn’t see her were never meant to. And that the pain she carries becomes part of the magic she channels. I’d say:
“There is no version of you more worthy than the one you are right now.”
And I’d hold her — not to rescue her, but so she could remember what it feels like to be safe in her own energy.
So now I’m asking you:
What would you say to your younger self?
